2021 Houston Restaurant Weeks Picks You Can’t Miss
This year, the 2021 Houston Restaurant Weeks is incredible! Every meal yields a donation to the Houston Food Bank, and visitors get to enjoy amazing deals on restaurant favorites. We’ll be heading on over to these eateries ASAP! (There are takeout options too!)
Bisou Continental Cuisine For $49 per person, you can enjoy a fantastic dinner at Bisou. You can even order to go! The selections here seem to be never-ending, with main courses like almond crusted flounder, 8 oz New York strip steak, bone-in center-cut pork chop, chicken jalapeno fettucine, and cornmeal-crusted eggplant. This spot often reminds diners of Bagatelle NYC and Bagatelle Miami due to its DJ and other entertainment.
Neighborhood: River Oaks District

Café Rabelais This eatery offers some of the best French cuisine in Houston! For dinner, enjoy a first course of vichyssoise, salad du printemps, or paté maison. Next up, choose from filet de truite provençale, mignon de porc aux champignons, and filet de boeuf bearnaise. Don’t miss out on dessert! Diners can select from chocolate ice cream topped with whipped cream, assorted sorbet with fresh berries, and smooth chocolate silk pie. You’ll for sure want to take advantage of these prix fixe deals more than once.
Neighborhood: Rice Village
Visit: 2442 Times
Da Gama Canteen After the owners closed the Queen Vic over four years ago, fans were bummed to see the Indian restaurant go. If you like fusion food, you will love this new restaurant. The variety of Indian and Portuguese options is pretty impressive, and the prix fixe menu gives diners the option to try more than one dish – and at just $20 per person. Selections include the deliciously aromatic naan roll, the Da Gama veggie burger, a tandoori bowl, lamb keema tartine, and much more.
Neighborhood: Houston Heights
Visit: 600 North Shepherd Drive, Suite 520
Maison Pucha Maison Pucha covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner – but to tell you the truth, we’d recommend you go just for the yummy soufflé! Latin and French foods are this restaurant’s specialties, and it’s hard to go home dissatisfied. The blackened salmon is mouthwatering, and the steak frites is definitely worth trying at least once. If you head over for breakfast, you’ll love its luxurious take on French toast! Check out the prix fixe menu.
Neighborhood: Houston Heights
Visit: 1001 Studewood Street, Unit A
