Community Spotlight-Historic Theatre District Loft
What I love most about this historic theatre district loft is that it truly is a historic conversion. Built in 1921 by William C. Hogg, developer of River Oaks and son of Jim Hogg, former Governor of Texas, the eight-story art deco building has retained every inch of its distinction with the conversion to loft residences.
During the conversion, the original hardwoods and brick were preserved, but the finishes have been improved with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Every unit is unique and regardless of location, they all have stunning natural light and great downtown views. Unlike many hard lofts on the market, these all included washer and dryer too!
On-site amenities include a fitness center, cyber cafe, screening room and billiards room, and each apartment includes an assigned parking space. This location is only 3 blocks to Main Street with all the new eateries and bars, or, if you’re in the mood, head 2 blocks the other way to the theatre district for an evening of culture and arts. Cats and small dogs are always welcome! Options range from $1500-$2000 for a 1 bedroom.
