What Should I Expect?

Myself and two other colleagues have teamed up to offer you dinner and advice! The event will be at Collina’s on 20th Street in The Heights, and we will have 3 guest speakers to discuss the homebuying process. The vibe will be relaxing and informative, without any sales-y pressure. When have you ever known me to be pushy? I’m going to wear jeans, and you should too!

Who Are The Speakers?

The Lender – one of our speakers will be a mortgage loan officer. He will discuss what a qualified buyer looks like, and how he can help you get your finances where you want them to be. He will discuss the current interest rate increases, and how they affect you.

The Insurance Agent – we’re bringing in an insurance agent to talk with you about homeowners insurance, and what it covers. He will also discuss one of the hottest topics in Houston insurance today: flood insurance.

The Escrow Officer – we have also teamed up with a title company to explain to you another important insurance policy you are required to have: title insurance. The escrow officer does more than just provide title insurance though. She will be sharing with you how she facilitates the complete transaction from start to finish.
