History: Developed in the 1940s, this area contains approximately 450 homes and was annexed by the city of Houston shortly after its development. The community is built on the old Harris County Poor Farm. The neighborhood shares a civic association with neighboring Montclair Place.
Shopping: There’s no shortage of popular places to shop in the area. Braes Heights Shopping Center, the Museum District, Highland Village, Rice Village, the Galleria, and River Oaks Shopping Center are all nearby.
Community: One of the most expensive neighborhoods in Houston’s Inner Loop, Sunset Terrace is known for its new construction single-family homes.
